Just Do It

A couple of years ago I went to visit my father in Mississippi, as I drove around a city that once appeared BIG to me, now seems so little with no hope. As I talked to people who once had big dreams; they are still dreaming because they are still talking and doing nothing. As I search for a deeper understanding of who I am, God reveals a revelation of who He wants us to be. Today show someone God’s love not by your words, but by your actions.

This morning I walked to the Church I grew up in, the doors were locked. I found a gentleman who was a Deacon and he unlocked the doors and let me go inside. What I discovered on the inside was even more amazing, it was cold, empty and no activity. The gentleman told me I should have been there Sunday, because the Pastor preached a word. Today as I was looking inside the Church the word appears to have been only talk, because the Church was cold, empty and without actions. You are the Church, if God opened you up today what would people see?
