Spiritual Growth
Spiritual growth is a growing awareness that every moment the Holy Spirit is walking with me—offering insight and wisdom and nudging me into the places where I can indeed be the visible expression of God’s love in this world. Navigating me through the construction zone of life—remotely controlling the thoughts of my mind—carefully pulling the new creation out of the cocoon. ~KP
Greater Works
The reason most don’t operate in greater works is that they spend their time doing second things first. To accomplish greater works, seek Him first and not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. The world has to make way for the man who knows to whom he belongs, the purpose in which he does it and the way in which he is going. ~KP
Give Up
My mind tells me to give up, but my heart won’t let me. God grant me the courage not to give up what I know is right even though I think it is hopeless. ~KP
The Heart
One of my hardest things in life is having words in my heart that the mouth can’t utter—for the heart has reasons that reason cannot know. As I pondered why—in my heart that small voice says, I feel things the eyes cannot see, and know what the mind cannot understand. And when I went to God in prayer I understood it all—it is better to have a heart without words to utter—than uttering words without a heart. ~KP
