Did The New Year Change Me?
Is there any different in New Year’s eve than any other night…there is no pause in the universe…no breathless moment of silence…no romance of the sun and moon—as the passage of another twelve months line up. However, no one has quite the same thoughts this evening…as the A.M. prepares to pulls 10’ from the P.M.‘s 09’…with great expectation of newness—yet once it’s over one returns to his old thoughts. ~KP

Only You
It’s only you O’ Lord who can turn men back to dust…as we celebrate a new year—it is only you that a thousand years in your sight is like a day gone by. Without you men are sweep away in death…one spring up in the morning as new grass—by evening is dry and withered. We’re consumed by your anger…terrified by your indignation—yet our iniquities are before you…our secret sins in the light of your presence. ~KP

Who are you looking down on?
Those who appear to be rich (credit rich/rent rich) would rather have a feast for his wealthy friends…than share their leftovers with the poor. He seek to have many friends to show off his wealth…yet soon find out it’s the quality of friendships, not the quantity of friends which sustains a man—however he will soon come to ruins…and quickly learns that there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother —which he gave no bread. ~KP

The New Year
The last day of the 2009…life has been difficult for some but for me it’s been fine —however, 2010 will bring a new look…I want everyone to open my new book —its pages are blank…I promise this is no prank —you are going to put words in yourself…choose from the blessings God has placed on your shelf—The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day…do this and let God have his way. ~KP
