There’s Time to Change

It is never too late to make a change in your life.

There are certain stages in life when it is too late. You can’t order off the child’s menu at the Denny’s restaurant after age twelve. You can’t get the student discount at the movies after you’ve graduated. And you can’t get hired as an astronaut when you’re sixty years old (unless you’re John Glenn).

Thankfully, there is no “too late” stage with God. It’s never too late and you are never too old to start a personal relationship with Him. And once you have connected with Him, it is never too late to have your life changed by Him.

Now that we think about it, there does come a time when it is too late to respond to God. That would be when your life ends. Death is the ultimate “too late” stage. So unless you know exactly when that’s going to be, you’d better plan on making your changes while you can.

And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.
