The Peace of God

The peace of God is the greatest feeling in the world.

The peace of God is a gift. Jesus said so Himself (John 14:27). The peace of God is a gift because there’s no way we can generate it on our own. The world can’t give us this kind of peace, either. All the world can do is provide a temporary diversion from our worries and troubles by substituting something else.

The peace of God permeates every part of our being. When we give God our burdens rather than worrying about them, He removes our anxiety. When we give God our doubts and fears, He replaces them with confidence. When we trust God, obey God, and depend on God in all things both big and small, He gives us His gift of peace. The peace of God is a gift, but we have to ask for it.

If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. Philippians 4:7
