Laugh It Up

Laugh at yourself as much as others do.

Nobody likes a sore loser, but more than that, nobody likes someone who can’t laugh at himself. We’re not talking about laughing at your own jokes (which is also annoying). No, if you can’t laugh at yourself, we suspect that one or more of the following conditions exist:

You don’t consider yourself to be funny. Now, this can’t be true. Everybody has at least a little sense of humor.

You don’t like people laughing at you. What do you expect them to do? Because you aren’t laughing, they have to laugh at you rather than with you.

You take yourself way too seriously. Here’s the real reason. My advice is to lighten up and enjoy life. You might even ask God to put a little laughter on your lips and humor in your heart. ~KP

He willfill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21
